- I've been trying for a really long time to get my datatypes to work, and I
- can't figure it out for the life of me. I have d/l'ed some datatypes from
- aminet and insstalled them like this.
-
- I have a SYS:devs/datatypes directory, containing:
-
- [4][Workbench:Devs/DataTypes] ls
- AmigaGuide FTXT JFIF WAVE
- BMP GIF VOC exe
-
-
- then I have a sys:classes/datatypes directory, looks like this:
-
- [4][Workbench:Classes/DataTypes] ls
- VOC_DT.Doc bmp.datatype text.datatype
- ZGIFDatatype.Doc exe.datatype voc.datatype
- amigaguide.datatype gif.datatype wav.datatype
- ascii.datatype jfif.datatype
-
-
- I also have a line in my startup-sequence:
-
- C:AddDatatypes REFRESH QUIET
-
-
-
- Does this look like everything is set up correctly? That is the extent of my
- set-up.. should datatypes work now? I've never gotten them to work in any
- program.. I'm trying to get IBrowse to have inlined gifs, or MultiView, or
- ANYTHING, nothing wants to work for me. I can't figure it out. Any ideas?
-
- Thanks in advance..
